Historically, MAPA Group’s strengths have been traditional construction projects in the water supply, infrastructure and energy sectors. MAPA predominantly acts as an EPC contractor with primary responsibility for the construction projects it undertakes. In recent years, the Group has extended its portfolio to include PPP projects. CONCEPTORISE’s core focus is to identify and develop major projects in the following areas:
CONCEPTORISE has been invited by the Water Transmission Technologies Company Saudi Arabia (WTTCO), to hold a 1-week training course for their Engineering staff, with focus on hydraulics, process design and station design for large scale Water Transmission Systems (WTS). The course has taken place from 25th of February 2024 until 29th of February 2024 in WTTCO head office in Riyadh. In total ten (10) young Engineers from WTTCO have participated and successfully completed it.
The intention of the course was to transfer the know-how of the well experienced CONCEPTORISE team in the concerning design disciplines to young and talented Engineers of WTTCO. Some of them might take over important roles within the organization of WTTCO in future and it was a great pleasure to meet them.
It is one of the major goals for CONCEPTORISE to establish a strategic as well as long-term partnership with WTTCO, in order to support them with expertise in future challenging WTS projects. As WTTCO is one of the most important Water Transmission and Distribution Operators in Saudi Arabia, CONCEPTORISE was very honored about the opportunity to conduct this training course and is looking forward to further fruitfulcollaborations.
In 2023 CTR has been awarded by the Tiroler Wasserkraft AG (TIWAG) for elaboration of the tender design and tender documents packages for pipe supply and pipe laying for their project "Hydroelectric Power Plant Tauernbach - Gruben."

Subsequently CTR has also been awarded for technical support during the execution phase of the project, responsible for detailed design vetting and advisory services for pipeline construction works. CTR will be involved in the project until successful commissioning and start-up of the entire water way which is envisaged for Spring 2026.
We had a meeting with the Vice President of the newly established Saudi Water Authority, Excellency Eng. Sharekh Bin Ibrahim Al-Sharekh, in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. On this occasion, we were able to discuss future strategic cooperation on projects in the field of water transportation and strategic water storage in Saudi Arabia. There is a great mutual interest in cooperation between the Saudi Water Authority and CONCEPTORISE. We are very proud of this development.
